1.1 In compliance with the provision of Article 37 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation Annex 15 to the convention - Aeronautical Information Service, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) is publishing its own Aeronautical Information Publication on 01 May 2014, together with AIP Amendment, AIP Supplement and AIC in electronic format with effect from 26 June 2014 (AIRAC).

1.2 This is also a part of the QCAA Air Navigation Department's implementation program on the Roadmap for the transition from AIS to AIM for the State of Qatar, pertaining to Phase 2 - Going Digital, P11 - Electronic AIP (eAIP).

1.3 The Qatar AIP follows the ICAO recommended format for the Electronic AIP (eAIP).

1.4 With the implementation of the Qatar eAIP, aeronautical information pertaining to the State of Qatar will no longer be available in AIP Bahrain FIR.

2.1 eAIP, eAIP AMDT, eAIP SUP, and eAIC are available free of charge for all its users on URL https://www.aim.gov.qa.

2.2 Pre-flight Information Bulletins (PIB) are made available at Doha AIS briefing office.

2.3 NOTAM and monthly checklists are issued via the AFS through Bahrain NOF.

2.4 A list of valid NOTAM pertaining to the State of Qatar, is available on URL https://www.aim.gov.qa
