1. INTRODUCTION
The Bahrain International Airport is scheduled to go through construction phase due to the expansion of the terminal building and associated facilities. This may impose certain constraints on a number of ground areas within the airport. And temporarily limit the functionality of those areas to varying extent. Users are therefore required to understand and become fully acquainted with the affected areas, as indicated in the paragraphs hereunder. This AIP SUP contains charts attachments A to J.
2. Scope of Constraints
2.1 Northern Restriction:
2.1.1 Between a lateral distance of 77.5M approximately 150M from RWY 30R C/L and running parallel along the entire length of the runway from the northeastern side, work-in-progress will take place with obstacle height of not more than 12M.
Affected Area: RWY 30R/12L strip
2.1.2 Between a lateral distance of 150M and beyond from RWY 30R C/L and running parallel along the entire length of the runway from the northeastern side, work-in-progress will take place with an obstacle height of not more than 30M.
Affected Area: RWY 30R/12L strip
2.2 Eastern Restriction:
2.2.1 At 300M from THR RWY 30R towards the eastern side, work-in-progress will take place with an obstacle height of not more than 25M.
Affected Areas: Runway 12L Clearway and beyond
2.3 Southern Restriction:
2.3.1 At 270M from RWY 30R/12L C/L running parallel along the runway to the end of the runway from the southern side, work-in-progress will take place with an obstacle height of not more than 90M.
2.3.2 Five cranes are erected at the southern area of the airport at the following position. Cranes are marked and lighted.

Clockwise between radials 090 & 145 from Bahrain DVOR within 5 NM, a radar minimum altitude of 1300 feet.
Clockwise between radials 270 & 325 from Bahrain DVOR within 5 NM, a radar minimum altitude of 1300 feet.
Clockwise between radials 325 & 090 from Bahrain DVOR within 5 NM, a radar minimum altitude of 2000 feet remains unchanged.
Clockwise between radials 145 & 270 from Bahrain DVOR within 20 NM, a radar minimum altitude of 2000 feet remains unchanged.
Clockwise between radials 270 & 145 from Bahrain DVOR beyond 5 NM but less than 20 NM, a minimum altitude of 1200 feet remains unchanged.
